While the famed "Professional" line of Speedmasters remains the most popular series of chronographs by OMEGA, not all Speedmasters are Moonwatches. The brand has produced a diverse range of variations, from heritage models to moon-phases, digital versions, and bejeweled styles.
One notable deviation from the traditional path is the Schumacher line, launched in 1996 in collaboration with F1 driver Michael Schumacher. Based on the Speedmaster Its black bezel, equipped with a tachymetric scale, is set on a 39 mm stainless steel case and paired with a stainless steel bracelet. A compact red dial layout, the combination of 30-minute, 12-hour and small seconds sub-dials, an automatic movement, departing from the manual calibers typically used in the Speedmaster family. Reflecting the racing spirit of the original Speedmasters, these pieces offer collectors a unique slice of OMEGA history from the late '90s.
