Polishing

As time goes by, the case and bracelet of your watch might start revealing a bit of wear.

No worries, though! Our expert surface finishers treat your watch to a gentle sanding, polishing and washing. We bring back that original shine to your timepiece.

This service includes:

Uncasing of the movement
Dismantling of the case
Polishing of watch case, bracelet, clasp, or buckle
Replacing seals and gaskets
Reassembling the case
Testing water resistance

Please note that if your case back has any personal engravings, it can only be cleaned and will not be polished.

Movement servicing

1. Welcoming Your Watch

When your watch reaches us, we take note of any special requests you’ve shared. It then finds its way to our skilled watchmaker.

2. A Splitting Journey

The movement is gently removed, keeping the dial and hands in place, while the case takes a different route without its bracelet. Each part has its own servicing journey, reuniting at the process's end.

3. Crafting Perfection

The movement undergoes a loving disassembly, with any parts not meeting Rolex standards replaced with fresh ones. It may needs spare-parts for replacement, and the additional cost will be agreed upon in advance.

4. Ultrasonic Bath

Every movement’s component takes a refreshing dip in an ultrasonic bath, bidding farewell to impurities.

5. Artful Reassembly

Once dry, our watchmaker skillfully reassembles the movement, giving it a lubricating hug. Precision is fine-tuned to meet Rolex's accuracy benchmarks.

6. Case Makeover

The case undergoes a full makeover. Each part – middle case, bezel, case back, and bracelet – receives a cosmetic polish or satin finish, restoring its original allure.

7. Meticulous Integration

The movement returns to the case after our watchmaker meticulously checks technical and aesthetic elements.

8. Waterproof Test

The case is put back together, seals are replaced, and a waterproof test is conducted.

9. Final Precision Check

Once cased, the movement's chronometric precision is reevaluated, with any necessary final adjustments made. Your watch undergoes a specialized test that spans a minimum of 48 hours. This test ensures the movement's performance over an extended period.

10. Flawless Finale

Your watch undergoes a final check, ensuring it not only ticks perfectly but also boasts an impeccable appearance.
